    Description
This listing is for a pair of 2 (two) Large Antique Porcelain Urns or Vases in the Rockery & Pheasant Pattern in blue Lustre by Carlton Ware. These are marked on the bottom in black "W & R Stoke on Trent Carlton Ware Made in England".  The pattern number, 2071, is clearly visible in red near the mark on the bottom of one vase and almost legible in black on the 2nd vase. The Rockery & Pheasant pattern was in production from 1916-1918 so the vases are just over 100 years old. W & R are the initials for "Wiltshaw & Robinson" which was founded in 1890.
These vases are in blue lustre finish featuring deep Cobalt or navy Blue with Gold Trim and 2 gold handles in the #2071 pattern of  Pheasants and flowers. The flowers are raised enamel and very colorful. The interior of each vase is an off white iridescent lustre finish with gold decorations around the rim.
Vases or earns measure approximately 8" tall, are 9 1/2" handle to handle and 7 1/2" across the top deep. The bases are 6 3/4" x 6 1/2".
These  items came from my local client who is downsizing in preparation for a move. These have been displayed for many years and are in Great condition. I see no condition issues such as chips, cracks or repairs. The gold is mostly intact but there is some slight gold loss on the handles and top rim. See my pics. I do not have the original box or history of these items.
