    Description

    Lovers Playbill / Hirschfeld cover.  Playing at the Forrest Theater in Philadelphia, starring Art Carney.  This production of 'Lovers' opened at the Vivian Beaumont Theater in New York City as part of Lincoln Center Festival '68 on July 25, 1968.  Playbill is in very good condition; no rips, tears, bent or folded pages. Slightly yellowed with age.  Inside title page 11 (see photo) has a handwritten inscription in blue ink:  "with Betty, May 1969".
