- December 1975 production of “Sherlock Holmes” by The Royal Shakespeare Company at the Broadhurst Theatre. It stars Robert Stephens as Sherlock Holmes, Robert Stattel as Dr. Watson, and Alan Sues as Professor Moriarty.
- January 1979 production of “The Crucifier of Blood” at the Helen Hayes Theatre. It stars Paxton Whitehead as Sherlock Holmes, Timothy Landfield as John Watson, M.D., and Glenn Close as Irene St. Claire. This Playbill features photos of scenes from the play.
All of the program books feature a Who’s Who of the casts, articles and other features on theater, and plenty of vintage advertisements. This is a very nostalgic find for fans of theater as well as Sherlock fans.
