Miter trimmer

Description

Miter trimmer. Uses a pair of very sharp steel knives to miter cut wood moulding to make pieces for framing architectural panel openings or for making picture frames. This machine is hand operated by pulling a lever to cause the knives to move down and through the wood to miter and cut to length at the same time.
This is a true antique from the early days of commercial purpose machine building, using cast iron and hardened alloyed steel, to increase efficiency and accuracy in performing specific tasks in the woodworking industry.
The seller will palletise and protect this item for shipment and deliver it to any freight depot in Boise, Idaho free of charge. The freight must be arranged and paid for by the buyer.
