The Silver fleet was a team of 14 cats that ran Goodrich Silvertown tires in 1929 through " treacherous ice snow rain and mud her and blistering desert sand". it was a publicity campaign as the fleet of cars stopped in large cities to show the Minimal wear on the tires.
The Art Deco stylized poster by Nicolas depicts the fleet leaving a large metropolis and heading into the hills. The caravan is made upof packards and Lincoln town cars and coupes and the lead car carries the Flagship placard.
This is an exceedingly  rare print and was believed to have been made only available to Goodrich executives and top distributors in the late 1970s.
