    Description

Sam Bass, The Train Robber.  The Life of Texas' Most Popular Bandit.  By Harvey N. Castleman.  Wraps, pub. 1944, 24 pages.  A Haldeman-Julius Publication from Girard, Kansas.  Covers severely soiled, spine has been reinforced with archival tape.  Interior good but the paper is fragile wartime newsprint so could easily tear.  Bass was a stagecoach and train robber in Texas in the 1870s.  Set up and ambushed, he was killed in a shootout with Texas Rangers at Round Rock, Texas, in 1878.  This is an original, not a reprint or print on demand, no waiting to get it.  S&H .00
