    This is a rare four-page preview playbill from the Original Broadway production of the RON THRONSON and TONI SHEARER (Toni Tennille) musical revue "MOTHER EARTH" at the Belasco Theatre in New York City. (The production played six previews beginning October 13th, 1972, officially opened
    October 18th, 1972
    and closed October 28th, 1972 after only twelve performances.) ..... The ensemble cast included GAIL BOGGS, FRANK T. COOMBS, KIMBERLY FARR, WILL JACOBS, CAROL KRISTY, LAURA MICHAELS, JOHN BENNETT PERRY, RICK PODELL, CHARLIE J. RODRIGUEZ and KELLY GARRETT ..... Side note: The music was written by TONI TENNILLE (her married name was Toni Shearer) and the producer was ROGER AILES (future chairman and CEO of "Fox News"). This was the only Broadway credit for both individuals .....

CONDITION: With the exception of staple holes at the top of the cover and a fold across the middle, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
