Vintage 1950s Lily of France White Garter Belt, Small (FINAL REDUCTION!)

Description

Sweet little article of "unmentionables", which is often how ladies undergarments were referred to. This belt was worn around the waist - a tiny one at 24.5" - and the clasps were used to hold up hosiery. These were the days before pantyhose were invented, which was a Godsend. Those clasps in the back would dig in to your thighs when you sat down 🤨
Its clean, trimmed in narrow lace, and has a flower type design embroidered on either side. I see no stains. The front small section of satin could stand an ironing.
If you're tiny (perhaps teen size) you could certainly wear it, but it would also be a fun conversation piece framed.
My home is smoke-free.
