Vintage Goodrich Tires 4 by 11 Ad From August 1917 Good Housekeeping
This is an nice black and white ad from the August 1917 edition of Good Housekeeping. The ad shows a woman smiling woman driving a car with Goodrich Silvertown Cord Tires. Below the picture is the title Insure Against Tire Trouble and an explanation of why Goodrich Tires are so safe.
It measures about 4 inches by a bit over 11 inches.  The left edge of the ad is rough where it was removed from the magazine and there is some slight wrinkling and yellowing. There is also a light water stain on the top edge. Otherwise, it is in good condition for an almost 100 year old ad. A very interesting look at how companies marketed to women in 1917!
The ad is shipped with a backer board and in an acid free bag to keep it safe.
