    EVITACATSJESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR. Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Before there was "PHANTOM OF THE OPERA", Sir Andrew Lloyd Weber had composed these three smash hits in the West End and on Broadway.
    "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR " Opened at the Mark Hellinger Theater on October 12, 1971. It ran for 711 performances despite being condemned by various religious groups. It was nominated for various Tony Awards, but left empty handed.This show really put Weber on the map. "EVITA" Opened at the September 25th 1973 at The Broadway Theater where it ran for 1567 performances closing on June 26th 1983. It won multiple Tony Awards including Best Musical (a FIRST for a British Musical) and made stars of Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin.
    "CATS" Opened at the Winter Garden Theater on October 7th 1982. On 19 June 1997,CatsovertookA Chorus Lineto become thelongest-running show in Broadway historywith 6,138 performances.At the time, the musical was found to have had an economic impact of .12 billion on New York City and had generated the most theatrical jobs of any single entity in Broadway history. A June closing date was announced in early 2000 but was subsequently pushed back after a resulting surge in ticket sales. The show closed on 10 September 2000 after a total of 13 previews and 7,485 performances. It won many awards including the much desired Tony Award for Best Musical.
